• Amber Zombie - Humans, demi-humans, or humanoids transformed by amber creeping vines with amber skin and glazed eyes
• Animated Tree - Normal trees animated by treants
• Ankheg - Large insect-like monster with a taste for fresh meat that burrows beneath forests and farmlands
• Bear, Black - Omnivorous bears that are not particularly aggressive unless cubs are threatened
• Bear, Brown - Aggressive strain of bear including the famous grizzly, fights to the death
• Boar - Bad-tempered wild swine covered in coarse, grayish-black fur
• Brownie - A small fey being closely related to pixies and sprites, an elf-like creature about 2 feet tall
• Dragon, Green - Foul-tempered dragons that prefer caverns or ruins in or near forests
• Dryad - Female nature spirits mystically bound to enormous oak trees
• Elf - Slender, fey demihumans with pointed ears. Live in harmony with nature, in beautiful natural settings.
• Ettercap - A cross between a grossly-bloated spider and a humanoid
• Faun - A fey-related race resembling a cross between a goat and a small human or elf
• Giant Boar - Ancient ancestor to the modern boar, even more aggressive
• Giant Bombardier Beetle - Scavenging beetle that collects decaying matter and can release noxious gas
• Giant Boring Beetle - Tunnel-dwelling beetle that feeds on fungal cultures in rotting wood
• Giant Death Watch Beetle - Camouflaged beetle that produces deadly bass vibrations
• Giant Stag Beetle - Woodland beetle that plagues farmland by feeding on young grain shoots
• Gnome - Small humanoids standing 3 to 3½ feet tall with tan to woody brown skin
• Leprechaun - The "wee folk" are related to the other fey races of brownies, pixies, and sprites
• Normal Wolf - Carnivorous relatives of dogs that hunt in packs
• Owlbear - Nightmarish creatures with the body of a large bear and the head of an owl
• Pixie - Winged fairies often found in forested areas who love beauty and pranks
• Pseudo-Dragon - Tiny dragons with deadly sting in their tails, lacking breath weapon
• Quickling - Corrupted fey creatures sped up in time, moving so fast they appear as a blur
• Spider, Huge - Large web-building spiders that ensnare prey like their tiny cousins
• Sprite - Reclusive fey creatures, looking like tiny elves just a foot tall with dragonfly-like wings
• Squealer - Large three-armed ambush predator that dwells in trees
• Treant - Large, roughly humanoid tree-people that resemble oak trees when still
• Unicorn - Horselike creatures with a single spirally-twisted horn in the middle of the forehead
• Weasel, Huge - Large blood-draining weasels found in forests and dungeons
• Werebear - Highly intelligent, also in bear form
• Wereboar - Semi-intelligent and irascible
• Werewolf - Semi-intelligent pack hunters
• Wolverine - A furry animal with a squat, powerful body and strong forelimbs armed with long claws for digging
