- Ghast - Undead monsters similar to ghouls but smarter and more powerful, surrounded by an overwhelming stench
- Ghost* - Spectral remnants of intelligent beings who cannot rest easily in their graves
- Ghoul - Undead monsters which eat the flesh of dead humanoids to survive
- Giant Bat - Large carnivorous bat with 15-foot wingspan
- Giant Hawk - Large raptors capable of carrying off Halfling-sized creatures
- Giant Rat - Large scavenging rodents that grow up to 4 feet long and weigh over 50 pounds
- Giant, Cloud - Massive giants with milky white to sky blue skin, living in clouds and demanding tribute
- Giant, Cyclops - A one-eyed giant, huge and brutish, resembling hill giants
- Giant, Fire - Barrel-chested giants with ruddy skin, black hair, and dark red eyes
- Giant, Frost - Pale-skinned giants with light blue or dirty yellow hair who dress in skins and pelts
- Giant, Hill - The smallest of giants, standing ten to twelve feet tall
- Giant, Mountain - Largest of all giants, living in clans that rule over mountain territories
- Giant, Stone - Reclusive giants of rocky mountainous terrain, standing 12 feet tall
- Giant, Storm - Adult storm giants are about 21 feet tall and weigh about 12,000 pounds
- Gnoll - Hyena-headed, evil humanoids that wander in loose tribes
- Gnome - Small humanoids standing 3 to 3½ feet tall with tan to woody brown skin
- Goblin - Small, wicked humanoids that favor ambushes, overwhelming odds, and dirty tricks

- Pteranodon - Giant-sized pterodactyls with wingspans of 25 feet or more
- Pterodactyl - Prehistoric winged reptilian creatures with a wingspan of around 25 to 30 inches
- Purple Worm - Gigantic subterranean monsters with poisonous stingers

- Rhagodessa, Giant - Spider-scorpion creature with sticky pedipalps for capturing prey
- Roc - Giant eagle-like birds with dark brown or golden plumage
