The Vort, or crested serpent is a medium-sized snake, ranging from 7 to 9 feet long. They are a deep burgundy in color, however they have a bright, contrasting crest of yellow, green, and pink on top of their heads.
Special Abilities
Poison: They are venomous, however their poison is weak. Their poison will kill small creatures that fail a save vs. Poison, however creatures the size of a medium dog, up to the size of a halfling or kobold, will only be rendered unconscious for 2d4 turns if they fail the save. Creatures larger than halflings will feel dizzy and unsteady; if they fail the save, they suffer a -1 penalty to hit for 2d4 rounds.
