Those unfortunate souls who are damned to the Abyss become kullules; the demonic horde. The most evilly accursed among them are bound to spend eternity wandering the flaming tiers of Gehenna. They are only semi-intelligent, instinctively driven to blindly attack by tooth and nail any being not of demonkind. The GM should treat them as undead for purposes of sleep, charm and other similar spells. Killing them is fruitless, as they collapse into a pile of ordure which reforms into a new kullule in a day. They are only truly destroyed when one of the demonlords chooses to feed on them.
Unlike other demons, the kullule have no ability to cause darkness or similar demonic powers. They are invulnerable to normal melee and missile weapons however, and require a +1 or better magical weapon to hit.
Shadows and ghasts are often created from kullule by their demonic masters. The success or failure of this is largely dependent on how evil they were as living souls. Occasionally they are ordered by a greater demon lord to the Prime Material Plane, where they may remain for but a single day. These kullule are usually selected from amongst those in Gehenna.
