Plateosaurs are bipedal plant-eating dinosaurs having a relatively small head on a long, flexible neck. They have heavy, muscular hind limbs and short powerful arms; their fore-paws are hand-like, able to grasp and hold trees and other foliage. They are herd animals, prone to stampeding if threatened.
